Is theatre rather unknown territory for you? But are you curious about this world, would like to go to the theatre more often and don't really know where and how and with whom? Then our package tour is just right for you! 

For this trip, you can just stay in Bern and the world comes to you. And just like in a proper package tour, you don't have to worry about a thing: We've put together a few highlights of this year's festival programme for you, we'll take care of all the ticket bookings, take you to the selected sights and provide you with all the info on the places and people in advance. In addition, you can expect a few first-class extras that are not available to individual visitors. And of course, a competent tour guide from the aua team will be at your side every day to accompany you and the whole tour group.

Route

The shows are all comprehensible for German speakers. One is in easy English.

1st evening – THUR 11.5.
Our trip starts with a short walk to Schlachthaus Theater where we enjoy a welcome drink before watching the Swiss-Bolivian theatre production Dos Vidas.

2nd evening – FRI 12.5.
We visit a slightly different form of theatre with the show Funeral at Dampfzentrale. Afterwards we finish off the evening with a nice dinner at the Festival Centre.

3rd evening – SAT 13.5.
Today’s excursion leads us to the late-night comedy show Security at Tojo Theater.

4th evening – TUE 16.5.
Today we enjoy a bath at Les Thermes at the Festival Centre, while listening to an inspiring short lecture. Afterwards we stroll to the performance of SPAfrica at Dampfzentrale.

5th evening – SAT 20.5.
On our last evening we enjoy a guided tour of Dampfzentrale, one of the biggest cultural venues in Bern. Afterwards we watch the performance of Elles Vivent. We then have a last drink together at the Festival Centre and then individually enjoy the ecstatic Queereeoké party.
