How do we stay connected with ourselves and the world?

In a world full of distractions and constant change, it can be difficult to stay connected with ourselves and others. What helps us to pause and truly feel what is happening within us and around us? Together, we will explore how a sense of connection can develop – with ourselves, with other people, and with the world in which we live.

Children and adults deal with big questions. They discuss and philosophise in separate groups. The children are guided by theatre teachers, the adults by philosophers. Tandems of children with mum, dad, grandma or another accompanying person can exchange ideas afterwards on the way home or over dinner.

Easy Read

In this event, children and adults discuss a philosophical question in two groups.

For people with mobility disabilities

The Festival Centre is wheelchair accessible. Access to the Festival Centre is through the courtyard. Opposite the right-hand entrance to the courtyard, there is a ramp leading to the ground floor. Lehrer*zimmer can be reached via this ramp and the corridor. The venue has a barrier-free toilet.

Social Story

Social stories are used as a tool to prepare people for a public event, such as a theatre performance. Our social stories provide a detailed description of what to expect at the venue and the customs that apply there. You can find the (German) PDF of the Festival Centre social story here.
