Why am I here? And what would I be like if I were somewhere else? Maybe you'll be asked these questions in your conversation with splatz.space, which can take place every day at the festival centre at different times of the day and night. And you may answer - perhaps over a small shot (also non-alcoholic) - or simply scribble something that will then document this year's festival on the splatz.space website. 

splatz.space has been online since the end of April 2022. With this website, the two graphic designers Katharina Reidy and Meret Gschwend and the journalist Benedikt Sartorius are building an open space that offers room for ideas, for workarounds, for other ways of working. In short, a place for music, literature, art and other professions, for people who tell stories and go their own way. The site "tries out new forms of talking about culture", as the Swiss weekly newspaper WOZ wrote. 

At auawirleben, splatz.space not only invites you to have a conversation or browse at a reading table - it also celebrates its first birthday with a party. Best friends will be there, such as the tape label Plouk with the public listening piece "Swarm Composing", which will echo through the Festival Centre. Or Hot Hot Hot GmbH, which is trying out different ways of preparing food and eating in its performative catering kitchen. Because apart from words and drawings, splatz.space is always about new or at least unusual ways of being together. And that could also be something to talk about. splatz.space looks forward to your visit.
